I saw it at HD. It looked like the safest homeowner chainsaw I have ever seen. Good Idea. Of course you will never see me operate a Black and Decker.

i wonder what happens to it when the limb starts to pinch. the photos don't show anything that would pinch hard.

still... i'd buy it for a rookie groundie. i'm always nervous about them getting hurt.

I saw the TV ad, where the demo worked fine.

It brings a couple of questions to mind. I know they test equipment before selling it, but consumer use seems to bring a lot of problems to the surface that were hidden from view.

Also, it works fine in clean condition, but how about when it gets a bit of grub built-up on it?

I wonder if it will hit the market and vanish like the Flymow.

Do you folks rememeber the flying lawnmower?

I think a few like it are still sold. About 2 months ago, I either saw a new one or a restoration for sale in some lawn and garden or farm and garden store.

Golf course workers loved them for mowing around sand bunkers. A few tied ropes to the handles to drop the mower farther down the slopes, but it may not have been a safe idea.

it will go blunt quick as you like, spare chains sold in packs of 20 i expect. Flymo are sold here big time....for some reason we love em...but most of us have a yard the size of the mower itself so no great worries.
