My partner and I are starting a tree co. within a couple weeks and I liked the discussions in the web site so I decided to join.:D

Good luck!!!

Best wishes. I recently got out of being self employed and am now enjoying self unemployment. I take a break when tree work calls but it is nice to have a break from running a biz.

My advice - Get an accountant and set your books up correctly from DAY 1.

Welcome to the board. What part of CT are you in?

I'm sure that you already know this, but thought that I would bring it up for the board anyways.

In CT you are allowed to do as many removals as you want. However if you want to do any pruning, or bracing, or anything else like that, then you need to have your arborist liscense. CTPA? I think is the group that you have to talk to out there.

I am from the north west corner of CT. My partner is a licensed arborist. CTPA

Do you know this kid by the name of Jeff Perotti? Or Zach who's last name I do not know? They are both from that neck of the woods.
