About a month ago a neighbor told me about someone who had called in to a garage sale program on a local AM radio station advertising a chainsaw collection for $200. I was expecting you know a half dozen saws or something. When I called and showed up wasn't I surprised to realize it was over 50 mostly stuff made from before 1960. It took a couple of van loads then I had to make some custom shelving to hold it all after cleaning it up. Now it's on to weeding out all the duplicates and selecting some for the permanent collection. In the storage photograph you also see my backstock of more recent fixer-upper's in the center. About a third of these are in pretty rough shape a third decent and a third might be able to run.

This qualifies as a You Suck award!

Congrats tho on a good deal.
These had been stored badly and for so long he just didn't think much of them. I mean up here trying to sell these locally it would be like pulling teeth unless I really cleaned one up and got it running. The weirdest part is a friend of mine came and wanted to buy a lathe and some other things that have been sitting outside for a decade and he wanted real good money for those.
