Been looking for one of these for a while. Push button 4wd, 45mpg. Perfect saw rig - Sam

Amazingly, those cars have lots of headroom. They are tough and sturdy too.

A gypo crew here used a $100 Subaru wagon to pull the haywire with.
They blew the radiator hose. They put in a new hose and it was running again, even on the highway. He drove it like a crazy guy.

I have an 04 Forester. Before that a 85 wagon. That was a great car 2spd transfer case, could go almost anywhere in 4low. Just not a lot of power. I remember getting a Justy as a loaner when the 85 was in for timing belts I think. I was amazed how nimble and quick that thing was. I'm thinking of getting a Subaru car and parking my Super Duty. Oh ya, had 235K on the 85 when I sold it.

if you don't know when the timming belt was done,? change it. don't want to hurt that motor by taping any valves.

That was a selling point, timing belt was just done. Damn motor looks like new under the hood, they replaced dang near everything but the motor itself. The car is looks great (which is nice), but mechanically, it's like new (which matters a lot more to me). - Sam

you need one of the old saab's for that.

...or a Wartburg, the "East German butt buzzer".

I thought that Micra owned by my mother in law was a small car.

Has it a boxer engine too?

Hey Sam...

I was just kidding about using it for a landing skidder. I think it's a great car. If you park somewhere you shouldn't the landing rats can just pick it up and carry it somewhere else.
