Fella's I think I may get a little heat on this but here goes anyway.
For us guy's on here that are just starting to get are hands dirty and for the fellas who have a lot of tool experience I have started trying to get a tool forum going. One that would cover things like electric powered hand tool's.wrenches, diagnostic tools, chainsaw tools, anything to do with wrenching and stuff, as well as any tools you guy's that are in the trades use.I would think there would be some interest in a Forum like that.I just came across the T handle thread and look at the response to that!Anyway I started something in the Off topic Forum and also on the Support and annoucements forum. So if you guy's would like to see this could you please put it down in the thread.Maybe Darrin will get it up if there's enough support. If you don't think it's a good idea put it down also then I will know why.
Many Thanks
Lawrence

What progress have you made ?
:)

Lawrence, I think its a great idea. People can show there custom tools and equipment for saws.

What talent you have!I would have to say that a Tool Forum would be a good place for you to display your work!

I think this is an excellent idea. I love seeing other peoples tool boxes and all the homemade stuff. Sign me up !

Just like now,

I need to buy a Inch Pound Torque Wrench.
It won't be used that often, just for my own use for
chainsaw's, action screws on firearms and such.
If I had a load of cash I would just go out and buy
the best I could find. But am not in that boat.

So is their a cheaper priced, relable one to buy?

Thanks,
TT

Not to derail this thread, as I think its a good idea, but spend the money for the Snapon Electronic, worth the money. I've got 10 plus Torque Wrenches in about every configuration you can imagine (all inch pound), it has replaced all of them (one tool doing it all instead of a bunch of specialty tools).

Picked mine up off the Snapon Truck for $250.00.

Tools forum. Oh yes!

Chainsaws are tools. Can we discuss chainsaws in there? :greenchainsaw:

a tool forum sounds like a good idea. i would probably get "TAD" then.

I'm still in, wheres the other thread?

anyway, did you contact any mods? Good idea to have support to show them.

Awesome Response So Far!

Fellas Thanks so much for all the positive feed back!I have notified one of the moderators and he is going to forward the proposal to Darrin.
In one of the posts someone mentioned if you could include chainsaw's.Not to be rude but there is a chainsaw forum and if this Tool Forum takes off it would take some of the congestion away from the chainsaw Forum which would be good. One of the posters had mentioned that so it's not my idea, but it sure makes good sense.I also had a good laugh when I read that one of you fellas put in your post about TAD that is FUNNY!
Thanks So Much Guy's!
Pass this thread on to your good Buddies on Here and let's see if we can make this happen!

Yeah, I'd say all tools EXCEPT chainsaws
