It came in the mail today. Bought it from Alamia Inc in Denver Colorado (303-752-4652). Awesome price from their website.

BUT it had the wrong bar. Order specified a "380-68" and it came with a "280-68".....so I called them. The lady on the other side asked if I would send it back...and they would send the right one imediately. And it would cost something...so they would send another chain. Me..not understanding..said "do you have my credit card" info....she said it wasn't needed. But I thought I heard the "cost you" and that means money....No she explained....it is going to cost something to ship the 280-68 BACK to Alamia..and IN return they would add a spare chain in the shipment along with the right bar..the 380-68. Wow.

These folks have my business from this point on.

Check out their website. You won't be dissapointed.

The 280 fits a smaller saw like a 55 or 357. That is undoubtedly why he wants a 380-68, LOL.

I think that you`ll be very pleased with that saw Weimedog.

Thanks Jokers,

One difference is about .030" slot width..the 280 has a narrower slot. Also the slot placement is around .050" closer to the bar tip on the 380.

Bottom line is (as was said before) the 280 won't fit the 365 without a bit of filing...and why do that?
