Does changing the coil change the version of Mtronic? Or will a V1.0 always be a V1.0?

If both the coil and solenoid are replaced with updated versions then I believe the version # will change. However, if you replace a V1 coil with another V1 coil, it'll still be a V1.
You can only tell the m tronic version from version 2.1 or higher. There it is written in the side of the silver sticker. Anything lower than 2.1 you can't tell the version, because it is not written on the sticker.
From version 2.1 on the new calibration feature with full throttle is used.
