Tried moving it through all positions and off is the only one that cranks the sawThe switch is in the off position. Try flipping down one click. Read the owners manual to figure out position of the switch.
My 034 did exactly the same thing. The clip is not positioned to ground when the switch is off. Then the end of the clip does ground in the other switch positions. The round part of the clip (red arrow) should be contacting the metal wire connector (blue arrow). [Edit for clarity: the clip is supposed to touch the wire to ground only in the off position. My original wording may have been misleading and was referring to how it was in the photo. As shown in the photo, the clip is not grounded when in the off position, but rotates with the switch in the run position so it is grounded.] I hope that's clear. A little tweak on the clip and you'll be back in business. The metal clip

You've got that backwards. Off position grounds the coil, no spark. My 034 did exactly the same thing. The clip is not positioned to ground when the switch is off. Sorry, I was referring to the OP saw and mine before I fixed it. Yes, it's supposed to be grounded in the off position though. His picture is not doing that. You've got that backwards. Off position grounds the coil, no spark.
