Happy to let everyone know that i found a new job for this season. Company has 2 buckets and a crane never worked with either so it should be great. Not to mention a buck and half more an hr than what i was making.

Its a good company had a buddy work for them b4 he started his own. Owner a certified arborist seem real organized and all. At least it is a real tree company my last one was landscapers who hired a couple tree guys:laugh: o and i start monday, owner set goals for you to meet, and pays for seminars and such. I was there the other morning for my interview and it seams like everyone does what they need to do trucks are well kept crew seems clean and i cant wait to fly the bucket and the ball er shackle. The company is also very safety orientated.

Well it sounds good so far! I will look for an update Monday night. U have never ran a bucket or done any crane jobs?? OOOO boy...u r gonna have fun. IDK what ur interview was like and what they expect outa you but keep in mind this...when u get on the job things MAY be alittle different than you expect. You MAY be doing more chipping than u had in mind at first. Maybe. Crew leader may have his own way of things and they MAY involve any new guy "proving" himself with a chipper and a rake before a chainsaw and a saddle. OR maybe not.....maybe you are expected to perform up high on the first day. Ethier way....have fun and let us know how it goes!

yea im starting as a ground guy and 2nd climber, not afraid to drag some brush and load some logs. Just another day at the office ya know? BTW im pretty mean with a rake. Although i like the chainsaw better.

So far so good. The guys seem to know there stuff everything is nice an organized, trucks and machines are well kept which is a plus. Jobs go FAST with the crane can't believe how many do it without it! So im happy didnt get to fly the bucket or HOOK but i did get pulled over in the company truck and blew the rear end out of it within an hr of each other:dizzy: Although the rear end wasnt really my fault stuff breaks when its used and there is 5 different guys driving the truck everyday.
