Looks decent, Nick. A little advice would be to grab a few in the color you like and only wear them on estimates. Make the rest a high vis color to cya on the job. And always order more than you think you'll need. Reminds me, I gotta get some more made up asap.

I would try to use one picture, you have a chainsaw and a tree. One thing that I learned when I was doing my logo is that you want customers to be able to identify you by your logo. They should see the logo and know who it is within a few seconds. You may also want to look into separating you name from the logo on the front and maybe add a slogan. Just my .02

I would get no more than 2 colors. The grey shirts are nice but they get stained pretty easy.

Cheap advertisement. Buy plenty of them and encourage your workers to wear them off duty....they work as advertisement.

I like the hi-vis idea.

I was considering uniforms as well but t-shirts are pretty cheap and compare to uniform service. The uniform service is nice for the employee as well.

To hold: cell phone, ear plugs, business cards, etc. etc. etc.

Must not be that hot where you are. My shirt looks like I got out of the pool after about 30 minutes of work with the high heat and humidity here. Anything put in that pocket would be worthless.

I would spend a little more on the artwork, just a chainsaw does not say much about you, howabout crossed polesaw and lopper with the company name around it as a pocket logo?

Get an artist to so a silhouette of worker trimming with a polesaw?

The tree is a good start, but there is better clipart out there.

I can get you in touch with the guy who does the Sherrill artwork, he can throw something together for cash. He used to do it for $150 and revisions by the hour.

IMO, the front of the shirt should be only the name "Small Jobs, Tree & Landscaping" just as you have it but much smaller and above the front pocket or pocket area if there is no pocket. And lose the name and chainsaw.

The back looks good and it's to the point. Most people pay attention to the back anyway. Bright colors will stand out too.

I like it. The only suggestion I would have is to add some color to whatever you want people to see. Color draws attention.

FYI, Darin Johnson, the owner of this forum, has a Tee Shirt printing business. You might want to get in touch with him. It helps support the AS forums.

Here's what I did on my shirts:

This is an awful dirty job so I have kinda settled into only dark shirts. It doesn't show dirt and oil and grease so much. We either get black or navy or dark green with light print and they are collared, pocketed and name on front, tree in back and big name over the tree. In the winter they aren't seen so much so we have nylon down vests that can go over anything with name on them. I don't think phone number is so important but I may be wrong of course. They can look it up if they are interested.

I agree with not making them so busy looking.:agree2:

Yeah we cook in the sun but don't look too dirty doing it.

We have been on this venture to improve on greasing at proper intervals but the stuff seems to get every where. Once you got it on ya man if you don't have shop towels, sticks, leaves, grass, etc. don't work.

I'd like to see some picts of people's shirts like yours JPS, etc. I'll show what I got if anyone else is into it.
