So some of us may know how expensive the oem carbs for a Stihl Ms361 are. Over a $100 for those who don't already know, one of the most expensive they have so naturally I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I hopped on amazon and found one of the few 361 carbs with some reviews, which were both positive. I was expecting another import carb, as the one I originally gotten from Huztl was continuously giving me issues. Low and behold what I received was nothing like what I thought I would get for less thanSt $20 shipped. Fit and finish was much, much, better than the other Chinese carbs I have seen, and this one also said Zama, and had the Stihl logo on the casting much to my surprise especially given the price and the initial packaging. This one must have been sitting a while in a somewhat corrosive atmosphere, as there was a bit of surface corrosion outside and just a tad inside and what seemed to be some very fine grit inside the carb when I inspected it. I am going to try to install it tomorrow, and hopefully it will all line up good and run. Will post an update when I get to installing it. The only noticeable difference so far is that these have limiters on the h/l needles and that it has a slightly different casting pattern compared to the one in the saw currently. If that will make a difference will be determine shortly.
