Hi gang.... over the weekend i happened to pass a stove shop that had just opened for business. I'm sortain the market for a new stove as mine is quit old and not too efficient. They had a nice display of pellet, wood, and corn stoves, but the guy showed me a brochure foe a new line of stove that they expected to get in in the next few weeks. They are made by a local shop in nearby amish country and sold mainly to those folks. He said that thier line consists of mostly wood/coal combinations, that sounds interesting to me and i was wondering what the boys on the "net" had to say..thanks

I think if your wanting to install a indoor wood stove it has to be at least UL listed. Would need to meet the EPA grams per hour test to be in its catagory. Your insurance company will have it involvemnt with it being installed. There is a lot of information here on this wood stove / hearth web site. hearthnet.com
