New Toy...MS192T

Yeah I have pictures...Its a real fun saw to use. I don't see any lack of power with it. I am running the 61PMN chain, 12" bar, but it cuts good in as big of wood as I've run it in. Only problem I've had withit so far is that it was cutting out at idle sometimes, but I richined up the Low Speed jet and increased the idle rpms and all seems to be well. If this thing is a dog, then I guess the 200T must be a real beast. I'm interested in the muffler mod, but only after its out of warranty. Thanks!

Very nice saw IMHO, you will come to love it!! The ony complaint I had was a lack of power starting the cut, not in the cut. It just seem sto bog down on the bark? But other than that lov mine, after the muffler mod no complaints at all!!! Just looking at the 200 because I seem to be getting beigger and bigger trees!!! I am running the 14" on mine.

Well if I was in the business, instead of just doing some work here and there I'd probably be ruinning the 200T, but I couldn't bring myself to drop the $500 on the 200T for a saw I might only use a few times a week. I noticed also that she likes to bog right at the beginning. I did a bunch of pruning on some big southern red cedars today. Pretty hard stuff, but not live oak by any means.

I was on the edge between the 200 and the 192. For some reason I prefer the mag case, which is what swayed my decision.

I tell you what though, that 200, with a 12" bar, is a screamer. I can imagine the 192 isnt far behind it.

I had a 192T lacked the power of the 200 which i have 4 and run all the time. Basically stopped using the 192 and sold it on ebay.

Nice saw!! i also have been thinking about the 192t or 200t! i already have the ms200,and it´s a little beast! and i still don´t have the muffler modded,and i´m not sure if i really need to mod it! well.about the 192t, my dealer told me some stihl news the other day! the 192t soon comes with a built up like the 200t! and a engine design like the 361!! as far as i can tell,it will have the power of a 200t but less weight!!!!! THAT´S INTERESTING!!!.
makes me wonder what the comming 200t will be like!!.(or will the name be 201t?) He also told me some other news: heated handle on the fs480! and som cind of electronic injection carb on the 441!! that all stihl´s will have in the the late 2007 or 2008!! so i guess there we have the 261,661,461,881!!!?? stihlfriends have a interesting future ahead!!! i think i have the saws needed for the moment,so i´ll wait for the new lineup to come!! :hmm3grin2orange:
