Bought the new stihl HD 101 power pruner,
and finally got my PP3120 from Dan, I had Baileys next day air me a 32" bar and 6 full skip chains (.404). the bar and chains beat the powerhead here by 1 day, I got the saw, put it together,
ran to the woodlot, And......................................................

Cooked the bar in less than 3 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!

They sent me a 3/8" bar! Well, they are now sending me a replacement tip, Dan I'll you the old tip as a testimony to the saws power.

You didn't look at the nose to make sure it was the right pitch??

Yeah kinda like when Walkers sent me a 346xp with a 3/8" sproket, and a .325 bar and 3 chains, but at least I didnt make the mistake of putting it on and running it. When the chain didnt roll freely on the bar i knew something was wrong.

Hey Treeslayer, that sucks about your bar, especially after paying to overnight it. I can say with confidence that would have never happened if you`d ordered from Jeff Sikkema.

Does Bailey`s expect you to install the new bar tip yourself? Not that it`s a big deal but it`s not right, after all, you already paid for a .404 bar. Seems to me that under the circumstances they should have overnighted you the correct bar and given you a call tag for UPS if they really needed the old bar back.

Yes, they want me to install the new tip. no big deal, but I won't have them ship anything in a hurry any more, the extra money for next day air was lost. They were okay to deal with, but at this point, hindsight is 20/20.
