I have a friend that bought a 50 + / - few bucks Worx 305.1 Corded Electric chainsaw.
OF course it has a Manuel, Thumb Pump oiler. The little saw cuts small campfire limbs pretty good but I ABSOLUTELY HATE those bar oil systems. Out of curiosity I read the reviews on Amazon. Wow! You wouldn't believe it. There are people SAYING it has Auto oiling. So I decided to post a question about the oil system just to see what I'd get. I'm amazed. Half say, it's Automatic some say it's a great saw. Why? Or Who? Actually believes those Primer bulb thumb work out oilers are a good idea?
I like PLEANTY of oil on my bar. I've heard people say some saws over oil. I've never felt that way. To check my chain I pull the chain away from the bottom of the bar (with saw motor not running of course) and look at the Drive Links. If there is no oil on the drive links (IMHO) that saw IS NOT oiling enough. When adding long bars to two cycle saws I've actually opened the bar oil hole up a bit to make sure the saw really oils well.
