I think the one off a CS-350 or CS-355 will work. They are open cans. There's a couple guys on the bay have em. I have a 361 I am not even going to bother to run until I have that cat out one way or the other from all the horror stories I have read.
I appreciate that info but I'd like to find someone who mounted one and knows it will fit.

The CS355T and CS360T are exactly the same saw: the only difference is the former is EPA compliant and the second Euro compliant.
You'll find Euro saws to be slightly better performing due to looser emission regulations, including exhausts.

I am not 100% on the CS350T. It shares a lot of parts with with the CS355/360T, including most of the engine, but has somewhat different plastics so I am not sure the exhaust would be a straight fit.

The one in my 352 wasn't that bad. I ran a few tanks before I put on a muffler with a gutted cat and retuned the carb. The saw won't immediately melt down if you run it stock.

Not sure I understand this as I have a CS360T bought in the USA, and the CS355T is also sold in the USA. The difference from what I read is the 360 is not California carb compliant but the 355 is however both have the cat muffler.

Also California carb compliant, has the cat muffler.

What I'm looking for is someone who fitted an older non-cat Echo muffler to a CS360T and knows what the part number is.

They work. YOu may have to fiddle with the bolt lengths depending on what muffler you have, and which you replace it with. Echo used a very wide range of mufflers on these saws depending on market. The only two I know that definitely do not have cats are the ones I mentioned. Echo part numbers can be found on the interwebs. Good luck.

From what I read, the CS355 here in the US is CA compliant, meaning it comes with a cat. I couldn't find anything saying if the CS350 is or isn't CA compliant. Is it possible that the European models don't have the cat stuffed in the muffler?
