North IN, South MI Storms

[VA-Sawyer]

I talked to Dad a little while ago and he was telling me about the bad storms up that way. Called my friend Jack in Lafayette, IN area and he said it was north of him, but was reported to be blowing over a lot of big trees. I guess the ground up there has been soaked pretty heavy for the last week or so, and now these strong winds are wrecking havoc. Hope everyone is OK.

Not so bad here. Just wet and still raining.

South of here got a little wind though. 8,000 folks without power.

We got hit

20 mins from my house a tornado touched down! Let the storm work begin! Lot's of damage, thank goodness only minimal injuries.

We had pretty good storms last night, some of the most beautiful lightning storms I've seen. I live in North East Indiana, last Friday was a good storm too, we were comiong back from Ft.Wayne when it unleashed, it got my attention, we had a couple trees blown down over the roads, it was tough to see. This year it has been so wet farmers are still trying to get seed inthe ground, so much for knee by 4th of July
