Lowest I could go is $1200 PHO and you pay for shipping, probably like $25, if you can do paypal as gift. Or for $1250 and you pay shipping I could add a new stihl rs chain, your choice of 20,25 or 28" and 6-pack HP ultra for 1 gallon each. Brand new never gassed in box Stihl MS661-CMR

Looking to pay some medical bills, was laid out for a month, chest pains, could barely breath, went to ER, etc. Still messed up, turns out I have Lymes disease. My advice, check yourself after cutting or hunting when its warm, tick was buried in me 3 days. Now its some chronic condition. Does anyone know about transfer of registration? Its never been started at dealer but they did take my info, I have a copy I think. I may not sell this saw if I can sell the Husqvarna 372xpw I have for sale and a barely used 290 farm boss. I have been waiting for this saw to come out for years and years, so if I sell the others first, then i'll keep this one, though i'm hesitant to start it since its so new and my old beatup 044 still works fine.

Hey Derrick,
I feel your pain- literally. This summer, I had the smallest tick ever on me- like the size of a pinhead. It was right on my thigh in an obvious place, but it was so small that I missed it for 3 days. I knew something was different by how well it was attached- I had to use mini-needle nose players to get it off instead of tweezers. Then the target bullseye appeared in a couple of days and the aching knee & elbow joints started. My wife said I was crazy and it was all in my head. But I went to my doctors for for blood work anyway and it came back negative. I did my research and read that you can have it and carry it for 6mo to a year and not test positive for it until it's too late. You can lose your ability to walk, your hearing and go permanently blind among other things before you test positive. So I forced my doctor to prescribe the Doxycycline (which the side affects totally suck for too) for a month just to be safe. Glad I did because within 30-45 days, I got bit a second time (bicept this time) with the same symptoms all over again but still did not test positive. I had to push my doctor really hard for another round of the meds. I went for a follow up 3 or 4 months after the first bite and finally tested positive. From what I'm told, it never leaves your system for the rest of your life. The meds just prevent catastrophic failures from taking place if you start them right away. All I know is that now it takes me forever to heal from bruises, cuts and scrapes etc- like three times as long as it used to. My joints still hurt more than usual, but I have found that over the counter (even generic brand) Glucosamine Condroidem really helps with the joint pain. Two horse pills twice a day makes all the difference. I'm also a lot more careful not to injure myself by taking risky/lazy short cuts and try to avoid generally doing stupid stuff with trees and tools etc (which I really miss doing a lot-LOL)! Bottom line is the whole thing could have been avoided if I would have just sprayed myself, my clothes and my PPE down with a good quality bug spray with DEET and checked myself more thoroughly for stuff the size of a freckle- word to the wise...
I hope you feel better soon- and you will. It just takes some time. GLWS of your other saws first (and this one if need be to). Scott

Hey Thanks for the all the info everyone and those who PM'd me on the saw, I think we are close to a deal on selling it. My wife is freaking out since somehow it can actually be spread through saliva and other fluids (no need to elaborate). And that there is this "biofilm" that can protect the bacteria from antibiotics and there are specialists who can prescribe things to break up the biofilm, crazy stuff. I had to spend $1400 for a coinfection panel through this company Igenix, since the usual tests, that are not accurate came back negative. I can actually use a saw again and get back to firewood, for now, have to avoid anything with sugar.

Round here in Harvard Mass a lot of people have had Lyme and co infections....all I can say is you must advocate for your health and your best interest....you got a tick bit and feel weird....or not ....don't stop till ya get a doc to write you a script for a antibiotic and do your home work. Not something to mess around with but it is here to stay....

good luck and be healthy

Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately my doctor was reluctant to prescribe and I think its too late now, I think i got this years ago and since then get sick a lot more and a lot worse, but this last bout was by far the worst, and the doc still wouldn't give me antibiotics, hence i will be looking for a new doc who knows about this disease. WE got some new supplements Lauricidin to try and some enzymes on order, but still i was feeling weird today, the stress of going out with all the shopping didn't help, had to go home after an hour.

I'm Glad you got to keep your 661R.
Looks like a heck of a Saw.

Merry Christmas and I Hope the Year Coming is Better for You.
