I pulled some of my working "spare saws" out of the company shed to run them a little before hurricane season gets here. The super wiz is my dads and is not currently running but the rest run perfect. I pull out and run all my saws once every two months just to keep them ready and fresh. It is not in my job description to repair and ready all the chainsaw needs for my company, but I've taken to it and will donate time to keep everything running and ready. For this, my company gave me a pretty healthy saw, parts, and tool budget, along with a shop next to my office including everything a professional saw shop would want.......even air conditioning and heat.
I would enjoy seeing photos of all the older working saws out there. Old "wall hangers" and "Closet Queens" are kool to look at, but oldies that still have a chance to get to the job and make some saw dust.........well that is SUPER kool to me.
