in reading anohr post this thot came to me.. saws use to have an manual assist oiler..even if they had auto..
with the epa fellas pushing lass oil in autos .. wouldnt one answer be to just go back to that system for steady full bar cuts.. when its hard for the oiler to keep up.. justa second cup thot..:)

I had a 550EVL with automatic oiler(non adjustable) and manual over-ride.When I would get into the center of a cut I always shot a little extra oil on the bar with the manual over-ride.I could tell a noticeable difference, chain speed would perk right up.I like um:)

That would be nice. On my 200T, the automatic oiler works great. You can run it, kill it, pull the chain back from the bar, and all the drive links have a nice heavy coating of oil. Could turn it down, but I doubt that I ever will.

Tony, that`s a great idea but the liberals would never go for the common man having any control over anything, afterall the common man is nowhere near smart enough to know what`s best for himself.

so it would seem russ.. but u can believe this ,,ill go dn for the last time, the rite way.. with guns a blazing..:)

That is one thing I really like about the Echo 670. The adjustable oiler puts out a good amount of oil but it's nice to have that option there when you want it. I have heard of people getting crazy with it though and running out of oil before gas. The model larger than the 670 has a manual over ride too.
