I did a nice job earlier this year, a bunch of pruning, removals, cabling, and stump grinding. Took about a week. When I looked at the job initially, the owner told me that he was having a sunroom put on the house under this 1 big ash tree which I had to cable and prune. I advised him against keeping the tree, but he wanted it to stay because it was healthy. Well I went there today to say hi for the holidays and check in about some winter work. They want to take the tree down now. Bunch of little twigs, ice, and bird poop has been hitting the windows.

It would have been a doable removal in the spring, a bit tricky... but not terrible. Having a brand new glass building pretty much right under it now will make it even more fun. Oh well... should make for a couple of bucks in January.
