Didn't have nothing going on today so when a landscape company called and ask if I could do a removal for them I jumped on it. The owner said it'd probably be about a a 3 1/2 hour job. I saw the tree, a silk floss, and figured it would take me about 45 min. and made a cash deal.
Had it down in a half hour. I started bucking it up and thats when things went sour. Every cut it seemed I hit metal. In the middle of the trunk I'd hit nails. I sharpened that 038, 20 times and went though 3 new files.
I just recently bought that chain, and it's now almost used up.
I still made money, but barely. I had to stump it with my 14in. top handle echo. The stump was maybe 22 in. Took me 3 1/2 hours to finish up. Nothing ever easy. Beastmaster
