does anyone have a spare owners manual for a Norwood Mark IV? I called Norwood and they want $60 (45+12ship), seems kinda steep. I'll place an ad in the Trading Post too, just figured it would get more exposure here.
After you would run around, try and copy one (which is actually illegal BTW), and calculate the time involved, honestly that doesn't sound like a bad price to me.I called Norwood and they want $60 (45+12ship), seems kinda steep.
WoodMizer, OTOH, would sell parts to anyone on the planet whether they own one of their mills or not.Did you register your mill with Norwood? They won't sell you any parts if you need them, if it's not registered with them
Yup, even to the guy that stole the mizer he has, or bought a stolen mill, unlike Norwood.

Is that the reason Norwood won't sell parts, unless the mills registered?
Or is it something else?
Im deciding between the two for a band mill.
Thanks.
Jason
It's a MUST HAVE, as it's full of good info, plus it would take a lot of copying if you want it all!
I have one here that i don't need, the problem is i have no idea where it is, and couldn't find it when i looked and looked for it, some time ago!

Oh, I see...I didn't understand that it was up to Norwood to decide if you have a stolen sawmill or not, that all makes sense now. Do they hire lawyers to work there or something?Yup, even to the guy that stole the mizer he has, or bought a stolen mill, unlike Norwood.
