Does anyone know if you can fit the old style spring loaded adjustment screws to the new style epa limited 044 carb?

Just pull the caps, adjust and install them so you have travel both ways. If you need more adjust than that, you have other problems.

Stihl tech, Its not a tuning issue as much as it is one of ease of adjustment. The old style spring loaded screws are ten times easier to adjust than the new plastic POS's.

Oh, I see the problem. You have to have a Stihl screwdriver! Fits in nicely and makes adjustments much easier!

Your right I dont have the stihl tool, but a I do have a gunsmithing screwdriver that works great. I would still prefer the old style adjuster if it is possible.
