Is there an effective treatment for Oak Wilt?

Prevention can be accomplished by macro-infusing Alamo (Propiconizole). It CAN be used to treat white oaks that are infected because the disease moves slower in White Oak. Once a Red Oak is infected they go fairly quickly (about 4 weeks), Isolating infection centers by breaking root grafts is also helpful ($$$!).

Have a big Oak that looks like it is infected. FIgure it will have to come down when I get home.

Hope that I do not have it spread to all of my trees.
