Hello everyone, I'm new to these sites. I was wondering if there are any suppliers of new old stock parts for chainsaws. I let my 550 homelite run too lean and took out the piston, cyl and ring. Totally stupid move, I do know better, used to run a repair shop.
From time to time I get an older chainsaw or engine given to me. For the most part I've lost interest in older stuff but every once in while, sitting in my shop, bored, I'm sorry that I don't have something to tinker with. But, if I did start to tinker it would be nice to know there were sources for parts should they be needed.
Any info on parts sources for various chainsaws/gas engines would be greatly appreciated.
