I have a small leak coming from the oil pan gasket on my early 90's ford. Not sure I want to put any more money into the truck anyways. Plus winter has been slow.

Any of those stop leak products work? Or just marketing. Any other ideas. I'm not mechanically inclined, plus I have no place to work on it.

They are really not hard to replace a oil pan gasket. A gasket is probably around $14 -$40. If you can do it, ask a friend to help you.

I am debating doing it myself. Like I mentioned I really have no place to work on it plus there is about 2 ft of snow around us. Will see.

460. Thanks for the PM bigbadbob. I'm not really in your area. I will check the bolts. Every time I bring this truck in to the local guy it comes out with another problem. Seems to be leaking towards the back of the pan.
