I bought an older Asplundh Whisper Chipper. I’m trying to figure out what year & model it is for ordering the correct motor parts I’m needing as well as chipper parts. I know it has a Ford 4.9 300 inline 6 cylinder, but depending on what year the unit is will determine the correct part numbers to order as ford changed style manifolds and couple other parts few times through out the years of making the industrial 300. I’ve attached a picture of the motor plate & chipper itself. She older, but will clean up well & does run. i know the person that owned it, they actually never used it but once after they bought it many years ago. I haven’t found any frame stamps on the chipper and all the plates are sun faded to the point they aren’t readable. Thanks in advance for any help.
