Hello, Cousin:

Can't help you much with any info about the Homelite EL 110. The website a lot of us rely on for info about chainsaws, Mike Acre's www.acresinternet.com, lists the model but doesn't provide much info, like when it was first produced and for how many years. You can see what that site says about the model at : http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ElectricbyManufacturer?OpenView

which is:

Electric Chain Saw: 110

The real collectible of the early Homelite Electric Chain Saws, is the Homelite ECS, introduced in 1947 and produced until 1957. You can see what Mike's site says about the Homelice ECS at:

By the mid-1980's Homelite was making the XEL 8, XEL 10, XEL 12, XEL 14 models of electric chain saws. Maybe a search for Homelite 110 on google or dogpile might turn up more information for you....

Good Luck.

p.s. -- I'm from the Arkansas Mountain Hillbilly branch of the Garrison family. We've been here in New Mexico about 100 years. Roots in old man Jedediah Garrison born in North Carolina 1754. What branch are you from? PM me if you want to discuss the family (ahem) tree.
