I have a chance to get my hands on a old homelite to tinker with.....should i get it or not....i dont know the model number yet but ill post later

what model and pict. what the heck are u usin a chainsaw fur???????????? if just limbin or learun saw a small applebox will work . for serious use buy a reaal saw. pro stihl or husky or jred or dolmar.:newbie: :pumpkin2:
 
Homelite used to make a really good saw, When I was young, Dad had a Super XL that did him a good job for many years cutting firewood, I used to have a little XLII that was a handy little saw. If the price is right, I'd buy it.
