Relay sent!

I apologize , as I re posted the link as an item of interest, I did not notice that there was no way to get ahold of the guy. Just looking at the pix's make my hands hurt and my knuckles all white and numb! Those were some work horses!

Memories of working on saws, way back in the day! I never owned an SXL-925, and they were never broke so bad that I could have got one on the cheep. But very popular, and most got there yearly tune-up, usually when they did come in, they got sharpened twice, once before the tune, and again right before they picked the saw up,,,,with big ol rounds freshly cut in my test log pile :)

Talk about a saw that will buck the rope, age and the oil used just raised the compression : ratio!

Placing a reminder with CL, and I posted an RE: note, if there keepers, I hope they end up with someone here, if you like old-iron, there up there with the best.

Talked to the guy!

There ex-forest service saws, no idea on the hours, but strong runners.

He would like to let the local CL post run it's course, he priced them to sell, but if they don't sale, something could be worked out.

Cool guy, works for the Forest service and dose a lot of wilderness work, leaving town for a few days and if no local intrest in the saws, get back to him in a week or so at: [email protected]
