just picked up the dragonfly and she is sitting on the workbench in the shop. the bridge gives me absolutley zero room in the crotch area. when i stand up straight the bridge has no seperation from my body. i am deathly afraid of clipping my apple with a biner.

am i going to have to fabricate a bridge? then why the hell did i buy a new saddle?

do i need to buy more short slings and rig something up that way? then why the hell did i buy a new saddle?

bostonbull if i am to understand correctly you sell them? you have a longer bridge for sale? if you do have one let me know.

and caritools? why the hell did i buy a new saddle?

she is awfully light though, just ask the workbench.

Yes I sell them. No I don't offer the longer bridge.

Have yo tried hanging in the saddle yet? I wouldn't go changing anything around just yet. Hang in it and do some work.

Allot of people use a piece of rope with a double fisherman's tied in it for a different bridge set-up. Just don't forget to use loctite when putting it all back together.

I personally use the BF, and haven't had problem except for the elastics on the back coming out of the adjustment clips, tied overhand knots in them and Voilà!

Fancy is good, not everyone needs to climb on a bo'lin on a bight.

I know a lot of guys on the B-fly and allmost all of them tweek-mod the saddle to get best performance. i've heard complaints about the short bridge.

Like the Bull says, try playing with it first.

Som 10mm double braid will work fine for a home maid bridge, many I've talked to like it better.

I climb on a Master and have allways put delta links in the sewn eye attatchemnt points, I'm on my 4th saddle now and the second Master.

I'm with the bull on this

Try hanging on it first, you'll be amazed at how big the bridge feels. Oh and locktite is a must.

Looks good. If I wore mine that high up my back I would be VERY uncomfortable.

Hope you like it, they are a great saddle.

back pad is right where its supposed to be.

cant wait for the 12th.

Same attitude I have always had. I am aggressive by nature, dont take it the wrong way. I try to call them as I see them and be upfornt.

Good Luck with the new saddle , see you on the 12th.

I too have a B2. I cant say i care much for it either. I sure dont see the hype.

Although the bridge is fine, it doesnt really ahve a good place to hang the chainsaw. The biner I put on it for this purpose is always slipping in front of the side d and thats getting old quick.

And too, the ring on the front is too dam small for two carabiners.

Im thinking of putting it on ebay (or tree-bay)

Get a caritool 'biner, it won't slide.

Lose the ring alltogether and get a petzl swivel:rock:

I tried the Petzl swivel out and still cant fit 2 biners through it all the way. Sure they'll clip in but the gates wont rotate through. What a waste of money that was.

????????

I have the smaller one (black) and two fit in there fine, why would you want to have them rotate?? They also make a bigger one that is black and red. I went with the small one because I usually only have one 'biner in there anyway.

no moss i am not looking for employment, ol dirty is being taken care of.
just some heavy recruitment going on.
lol

still havent gone up in it. i know i have to get some parts so i am not going to locktight it yet.

too busy to finagle anything yet.

what about high density rollers on the biner's so you can go to the bridge and not need the ring. will that work?

thanks for the input fellas.

I doubt it, those rollers were made to work with the wider strap of the master series of harnesses. I think the small bridge of the Dfly would just get stuck. I have one if you would like to try it out on the 12th.

i do believe i have solved my problem. went out and bought a couple links. so far so good. tomw will be the day that the dragonfly gets to soar with ol dirty. let you boys know tomw how she went.

thanks

I am lazy and dont like to pay too much atention, so I like to be able to flip the gates through, so I can be...........LAZY!!
