Olympyk 951

I just purchased an Olympyk 951 with number 0094195953 on it. I was wondering if anyone out there has any informtion on this saw. I will be useing it for light sawing. Never owned an Olympyk before, is this a good saw. Thanks in advance. Great information in this forum.

Built from 1991 until 2000, 50 cc. It was Olympyk produced by Oleo-Mac, and then became Efco produced by Emac.( It is rumored, but I cannot confirm, that this is the same plant in Italy where e-lux builds their European McCullochs)

The Olympyks were good saws. You can still get parts for them thru Tilton Equipment co. They have a website and a national retail customer assistance number there.

We use to sell several 946 and 951 olympyk not a bad saw. They never gave any real trouble but they are no match for the new 952 model that they build today!
