Looking at the Omniblock in the Sherrilltree catalog. I want a swivel and a pulley at my TIP. I see that they show it improved with a catch lip in addition to the lock pin. I like the idea of putting the swivel up top with the pulley on the false crotch to have less clutter/gear on my belt. I have been using a sling/biner/pulley at the TIP with a swivel down on my saddle screwlinked to the bridge and my line/split-tail binered to it. Any of ya been using the Omniblock? The new and improved one? I usually set my line with the throwball and then climb up to install the false crotch. Sometimes send a line up and over, tie it to the trunk after pulling up the false crotch with my DRT line all set. It always seems to me to take more time to set a false crotch from the ground any other way... maybe when I start to climb more slowly that won't be the case.:greenchainsaw:
