Hello,
This is my first post here, so I'll start with a quick introduction about myself. Living in Southeast Ontario, but we are spending weekends time on our hobby farm purchased recently in Grey County.
The question which I have is about reforestation on approx. 15 acres on this farm. We are thinking next year to apply for "50 million tree program" which is available here in Ontario and which will support a percentage of the cost of planting tree. Now the question is what kind of tree I have to choose.
- The land is dry and flat, wasn't used for more than 10 years, and before was hay on it.
- We are thinking as an investment, so the return can be back in 20-30 years
Based on these, what kind of tree are you recommend?
