opinions on dolmar 9010

Looking at buying a used dolmar 9010. Looking to buy it as a back up milling saw. How is the performace compared to a 395 or a 660.

The Solo 694 is the same as a Dolmar 9010. Once the muffler is modded it is a good running saw. Pulling a 36" bar is no problem. As far as how it stacks up to the 660 or 395...............pretty good!!!

I can't help you with the saws you are comparing it to, but I can tell you that it way out cuts the 385xp. My only complaint is that it is a little heavy, but or milling that should not be a concern. I generally only use mine for cutting stumps and occasionally bucking up large trees. I just purchased an 066 project saw, but have not put it back together. I am waiting on Bailey's to get the big bore kits in.

Rated power is a bit below the 660 and 395xp, but read what Rick said......
