I was looking at the 362 today. It actually feels lighter than my 26Opro.But it feels good. Will soon be considering a bigger brother to have with mt 260Pro.Any opinions would be helpful.Thanks.
If you hang out in the Chainsaw forum, you'll learn that most who try one think it's a winner. The 361 is considered a "best-in-class" saw (60cc's) and the 362 is it's replacement. There is a little more weight on the 362, but you also get a little more grunt.
The 362 has a more useful powerband than the 361, and is smoother, but a little heavier. I bought one last friday and am glad I did. It is a great firewood/ bucking saw. Mine is set up with a 25" bar and full comp chain for softwoods and you can bury the whole bar no problem.
i have a 280 and a 460. my local shop sold the 460 for about 70 bucks more than the 361 then i was looking at them 18 months ago. a little heavier, but i have run up to a 36" bar cutting cottonwood. i do not climb, and am only about 165 lbs, but the weight doesnt seem to be a big issue for me.
