Hi guys, I am auctioning off my nearly brand new stihl MS250 with about 1-1/2 hours on it, because my girlfriend is a spaz. Here's the story, I was sharpening my blade and drinking a beer one sunny Saturday afternoon and my girlfriend accused me of loving my tools more than her (or something like that I wasn't really listening). Anyways, to make a long story short, my brand new Stihl (two weeks old) ended up smashed on the walk. All the internal components are fine, but the engine housing ($89.30), and the quick tensioner ($42.25), and the fan housing ($27.80), and the handle housing ($64.73) are all broken. Apparently warranty does not cover crazy girlfriends, soI ended up buying a new one, and now this broken jem is up for auction. if you have the same model and need parts or just want to fix it, thats all thats wrong. I'll include an estimate from a Stihl dealer showing that this is all thats wrong, and I will also include the instruction manual.

I'd have shown her the curb before picking the saw back up. "You're right honey, and this is a good example of why. Pack your ****, my tools won't tolerate your presence anymore."

I think I am hearingwedding bells in the future!!!

I have a sneaking suspicion there was more said to have encouraged her to do that.

Reminds me of the story about the guy who moved out and told his "ex" to sell his almost new Porsche and send him the money which she did, for $500.

Sounds like my ex-wife complaining about me being gone racing dirt bikes every Sunday, my motorcycles have been a lot more faithful to me than she ever was!!! I'd be keeping that saw. Matt

You guys have to stop busting on the significant other.

I know I am happily married because my wife just told me I am! (JK, I have a gem of a wife. She is the one that got gyped.)

My Lady treats me like a king. Nothing on God's green earth any better than what I have already, or worth putting it at risk. I married up!!!

Talon; Why the Tom Cat (F-14) rather than the Eagle (F-15)? I was stationed at Luke AFB when the very first active F-15 (TAC 1) landed. Had an opportunity to shake President Ford's hand.
