can anyone tell me where I could find the osha standards for wood chippers Im thinking it would include shoot size, Loudness dessibell levels , rate of feed. And if these things could be found could an old chipper be brought up to standards. For instance if you realy liked auto feed and the machine had hydrolics any way couldnt you install it . One of you said that a winch might be nice for some chippers , Ive seen grapples on chippers that looked like a good idea. This is why Im looking.............http://gsaauction.gov Wood chipper NY Ind machinery

You can do anything with the right amount of money. If you are thinking of converting this into a self feed chipper I would think you would be wasting your time. Unless, your name is macgyver!

Dave1,if your looking for a chipper like that,I have one for sale that is in 100 times better shape than that.It may be tempting for the price it is going for ,but believe me you get what you pay for.Just remember,if if you buy something used, you better get used to working on it.

thanks every one for looking , It just when you see something that you could use for a low price ., I dont know I just start to thinking overtime . Once again thanks for the time Dave1
