I have had my B&G35? now sinse Sept. 2009. I run it non stop from Dec. till April, if it's still cold. Is that unusually long time for a pump to last? Are the B&G pumps still around? It might be time to change it. Has anyone had their this long? Can they be rebuilt?

I have a Bell and Gosset pump also running about the same amount of time (I don't like tempting fate saying that.) I don't recall the model number. I purchased 2 pumps at the same time so I always had a spare. With quick change flanges I could swap it in less than 10 minutes if needed. Can't answer your other questions but it was cheap enough at the time to get a backup instead of rebuilding no matter how long it lasts and not have to pay premium shipping for a new one when needed.

Thaks H-Ranch. That would have been a good idea to buy 2. Now that the wood burning season is at it's tail end, I can buy a new one without hurry. I dont want to tempt fate neither and will replace it before fall and would like to find someone that knows how to rebuild them too. I might then use the old one for a back up. I think my boiler was built to have quick change flanges too.

I don't have B and G pumps I have Taco and Grundfros pumps on my Garn System. I have eleven pumps to be exact. I installed my system Nov 2009 and the bulk or my pumps are the original's from 2009. I have two different sizes on my system. I don't keep a spare around. A quick trip to town will get one if needed.
