$200!?!?!?

Try twice that at least. It has too much below it to work around, and if you're going to shape it....

I might do it for $250 as long as he is gong to be down there grabbing each frond and doing all of the clean up. Yeah, those palms have the potential to kill you, but so do all trees. Just pay attention and be careful of the barbs. Cut them off when you can. Missing barbs won't hurt the tree any. Oh, and that job is a dirty one.

Are you going to use a clean blade or chainsaw? Ever hear of the deal where the tree worker diseased a CI palm and killed it. Then he was sued for $10,000. I'm not looking up the name of it now, but the fungus can be transferred from equipment used on other trees.

Verticillium Wilt...

WIth CI dates factor in at leas one visit to the ER to extract thorns, count on a few days of pain and suffering from the stick holes you WILL get...the crap that will come out of the fronds and a few insect bites as well, maybe the odd rat too.

I bid 10 of them for almost $3000...the gardeners with ladders and poulans got the job cheaper...I was NOT upset!
