Anyone ever worked with one of these? It has an impressive chart. I'm heading out tomorrow to look at a chip truck that has one mounted behind the cab. The boom is a year 1998-99 if that matters.

A Company I work for all the time has one. I'm not sure what model it is, but its behind the cap. We use it all the time. It has a slide out that'll give 60ft of length.
The Owner uses a remote control for all the maneuvering and lifting. He uses it to put me in the tree all the time.
It's pretty amazing how much it'll lift if you have the right angles of attack.
It has a winch, but I've never seen him use it, just a cable hooked on the end. He bought it new a few years ago and claims its already paid for its self.
Besides trees he does boulder work(landscaping) and its invaluable for that. He also does a lot of crane work for 175.00 and hour with it. Almost any airplane that crashes in So. Calif. is picked up by it, if theres access. I think if you had one you would figure out all kinds of ways to make money with it.

i would save your money and buy a crane, we have a 4x4 knuckel boom truck and its very slow and a pain to use. I would rather have a small crane, it cane do much more work and much more efficent
