How does that happen, I recently saw an article in tree care industry about a man who suffocated in a palm. how did he get stuck in that tree. I have been climbing for 7 years and I can honestly say i have never climbed a palm, so I just cannot figure out how he got himself in that position.

Yeah, the beard collapsed on him, heavy, cant push it up, full of barbs ... you are stuck!

Sometimes people have to climb up the inside of the beard to cut them off where they meet the trunk, if in the "tunnel" and it collapses you may suffocate.

I heard there was an all out "exterminate" order on them in Cal LA, darned garbage.
