i am looking for the flywheel pawl drive pins(part #501679601 i believe-no longer made) or some way of using another type of pin/bolt to anchor the pawl in place.i believe the 480cd used the same type of drive pin for attaching the pawl to the flywheel
 
I have found once they get loose once, they will get loose shortly again. I tried red loctite too with same results.
Ive found a new flywheel to be the ultimate cure if you can find a nos one
 
You can tap the holes and use the bolts from many newer series saws (for example, but not a complete list, 61, 272, 372, 288, 395).
