parts needed..'98 wc-19 chipper

I damaged the "hood" that is on top of chipper, it covers the blades and wheel that chip blades are in...half circle shaped held in place by a 6" pin...pin rattled loose or rotted...hood dropped down into chip wheel..need new hood. Hopefully someone can help me out, first time on here. Maybe a used parts chipper out there, or somewhere I can get parts for the machine. Thank you. AL Watson

Hi Al,

Woodchuck has now been purchased by Altec. I wish there was a chipper graveyard somewhere in the US. I haven't been able to find one in 10 years. Contact Altec about a new hood and be sitting down when getting the price. I would also recommend getting with a fabricator as they might be able to do it for less.
