Looking for a hyd. feed, PTO chipper to handle up to 6" in diameter(about, give or take), and was wondering if anyone has any input on the 3 makes I've listed. All seem to be a good maching. I have a J/D 955, 35hp.

Go with a valby

Andrew,

I've got a valby CH 170 on my deere 4720. I would highly recommend it. The only area that might give you trouble is with 35hp you might have trouble if you consistently pushing 6" material through it. But it you are ontop of keeping the blades sharp you should be ok.

Thanks for the info guys, I've recently contacted a Valby sales rep and he is going to send me some info on it. I don't know if they have anything between the CH140 and 170, but that's about what I am looking at. Probably won't be too many 6" logs going through anyway, that's good fire wood here! Anyway, thanks for the info!!
