I have several pecan trees that are about 35 years old.
One is a native and the other was grafted with a paper shell variety.
They use to produce great fat meaty pecans. But the last 10 years they put on lots of pecans but the meat is all dried up and the shells are generally hollow. The trees look healthy and are growing fine.
Any ideas on whats going on?
