Petzl spells it Macrocender and Macroscender on the same page...

This page says 6,000lbf (26.69kN). The Microcender is 3500lbf (15.57kN). Check this with Petzl before you take this for certain.

keep digging on the research. The breaking strength of ascenders isn't really as important as the load that causes them to slip. Then consider the tooth style and consider what a toothed ascender will do to your rope if it slips...ouch! I'd rather have cammed ascenders on my ropes when I have the option.
