any of you guys got a web address of a manufacture who sells /makes a good dump liner thing ..that goes into the back of a standerd pick-up ie nissan or toyota..also does anyone have one or have experience of them..i noticed some work like a conveyer belt and some have a hydraulic ram..thanks for any replies

Rolla, why dont you just remove the back of the pick up & attach a tipping body on it,Just a thought that if you get an alloy one it wont weight much.

i use one on a regular basis, not sure how much they cost here in the uk, but it has to be cheaper than a tipper, they are ok things against are the fact that if you have a full load of chips you have to shovel some out of the front first, plus you have to shovel the sides out but no doubt its quicker than unloading the enitre pick by hand, personally i give it the thumbs up, for what it is......

Friend of mine has one in his pickup. Watched him offload a full truckload of gravel (size 8) with it.
Merely hand cranked it out rather effortlessly.
I was impressed, I really thought he wouldn't be able to budge it until he shoveled most of it off, not so.

hey base where did you get yours from ????

spoke to the person that has this bit of kit today, he cant remember who he bought it off it was from a ad in essential arb though he did purchse it about 4 years ago, he said it was imported from the u.s,

what about one of these

never mind the crappy pickup save up a bit longer and get a

unimog

much better and you can get jumbo chippers ont eh back none of this 'genuine real 6" chipper' . whack a winch and butt plate up front, a chipper on the back and a tipping body, go anywhere do anything....quite often its our only vehicle out. unless its a big job then the other mog comes out with the crane on top and either timber boogie or 20m3 trailer with the small 8" chipper.....toooo small, he is now after a 17" crane fed....its the future apprently....mulchers are on teh way out....

sorry im ranting

I bought a load handler from Walmart for $109.00 about 5 years ago. It would move a pickup truck load of logs. It works OK on smaller pieces like split firewood or gravel. If you load large pieces like 100 lb. logs etc, it won't move it. I think the bolt in dumpers for pickups are a lot better. It costs much more but you can move it from truck to truck.

Bailey's used to carry the load handler, don't know if they still do.
