Guy delivered it to my house too. Came with original receipt and all the paperwork and tools. Taking out the carb limiter and exhaust screen before I even run it.

Great price. Have you run one before?

Nope. Will be the first time. Always ran 200T's and a 338XP when forced to. I've been out of the loop for a cpl years. I hear husky is coming out with a new top handle?

Did the guy have a maniacal grin on his face when you paid him?

It belonged to his father who passed away unexpectedly. He just wanted it gone.... Came with the original receipt from the place it was purchased at too.

I hope buying the 201 didn't hasten the father's demise; like maybe hypertension or an anxiety attack.

Are you some kinda ghoul?
How do you think he feels about the guy passing?

The ####, Ryan? Where the hell you been the past few years?

Whats up Chris...

Yeah, about that. Long, painful story, but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right??

I was a passenger in a no fault of my own car accident that left me with a severe back injury. I was on crutches for 6 months, rehab etc. Couldn't really do anything for almost a year. By that time I had to sell off EVERYTHING I owned to stay afloat. Pain actually just subsided roughly three or four months ago. I took the pittance of the settlement I received and started a snow and ice management service this winter. I ended up doing really well this season thanks to all the weather. Now I am back re-arming myself with tree related equipment, buying a 372 and a 395 tomorrow and will be purchasing another bucket truck end of this month when all my accounts have settled up with me.

I already acquired two dump trucks an F600 with 46K and a 99 F350 with the 7.3 with only 54K on it, a 04 F350 gas burner SRW pick up with 64K and two bobcats with grapple and straight buckets.

Really really looking forward to doing rope and climbing/bucket shopping this month too! Looking forward to catching up on all Ive been missing out on. I was really depressed for a while and just stopped thinking about trees all together. Call it broken hearted I guess.

Good to here you turned a bad sit around. Keep on trucking. As far as your 201 goes, that is a steal! There are a few mods that can be done with the timing and muffler to make it into the saw it should have been from the factory. You can research them in the geeksaw section or I can give you the name and number of who I used to hook mine up. Think he only charged me 50 bucks. I'm not entirely sold on the 201 as mine has been in and out of the shop since I bought it ( with the exception of about the last 6 months ). Power is tight since the mods but it hasn't been the 200T from the reliability side.

Thanks Chris, its good to be back, and I'm certainly properly motivated!!

Yeah I sold all FOUR of my 200T saws along with everything else when S hit the fan.. I already have the 201 saw stripped down. Carb and muffler are off and going to drill them tomorrow.. Looking more into the timing mod, as I dont want to eff anything up.

PS, I found a cpl bucket trucks I'm interested in. Do you know anyone selling a rearmount in the 20K range?

Sorry, I haven't been keeping a finger on the bucket market as I ended up very happy with mine. Good luck at the 20K price point, but I'll keep my eyes out for ya.
